What is AnyDesk For Windows?

AnyDesk is a desktop sharing program that allows you to share your screen, keyboard, and mouse with other computers. With AnyDesk, you can share your screen as long as you have an internet connection. You can also access the remote computer’s desktop in full-screen mode.

Unlike VNC, which is free but requires you to set up port forwarding, or TeamViewer, which costs money, AnyDesk is completely free. In addition, it has a range of additional features that make it ideal for remote desktop sharing. For example, you can create custom names for your connections and connect from both your desktop and mobile device at no extra charge.

Running App on Your Host Machine

To get started, download the latest version of AnyDesk from the website. You’ll then be prompted to install and run it on your host machine. The installation is quick and easy, but if you already have a VPN client installed on your host machine you can choose not to install one during installation. Once the installation is complete, open AnyDesk on your host machine.

Setting Up Remote Access with VNC Server

1. Download and install the VNC Server software on your computer, then open the program.
2. Choose a password and click OK
3. Click Enable Remote Control, then enter a password and click OK again.
4. In the Options tab, check Allow connections from computers using Microsoft RDP and uncheck everything else.
5. Back in the main window, right-click Viewer Configuration and choose Change Password.
6. Enter the new password you just created and click OK
7. Open up Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen > select On Resume, Show My Desktop from the drop-down menu
8. Press Win + L to lock your desktop
9. Make sure you’re connecting with a wired connection before clicking Connect
10. Once the process is complete, you should see your cursor pop up on the remote machine

Connecting to Remote Machine via SSH Client

1. Download and install the application from their website, which is currently available in English and German. As of now, they have a free, open-source version with a premium version that includes more features such as printing and audio.
2. After installation, you will be prompted to enter your email address and password so that you can log in to your account on the web.
3. Once you’re logged in, you will be asked to give your computer a nickname. The nicknames should be short and memorable and will help you distinguish which machine is which at a glance from within your list of connected machines.

Creating New Connection by Drag-and-Drop

If you want to create a new connection, you can do so by dragging and dropping the desired computer’s icon onto the main window. You can also click New Connection in the top left corner of the window. This will open up an interface with two options: Local PC and Remote PC. If you select Local PC, it’ll be saved as a local connection. If you select Remote PC, it’ll be saved as a remote connection.

Transferring Files with Ftp Server

To transfer files with FTP, you need a client like Filezilla. When you open the program and type in the name of your server, it will prompt you for your credentials which can be found on the FTP site.

1. Log into your FTP site and go to file manager.
2. Double-click on the folder you want to transfer files from or upload files to and select all the files and folders inside it.
3. Go back to your desktop and double-click on AnyDesk’s FTP Connection icon.
4. Click Browse and locate the folder that contains the files you want to transfer.
5. If you’re transferring files from another computer onto this one, click Upload Files.
6. If you’re transferring files off of this one onto another computer, click Download Files.

If you’re moving files between computers that are on a local network and connected to each other via an Ethernet cable, choose Local LAN. You should see both computer’s names in the screen that appears. Click your computer’s name. 8. The other computer will appear in a list labeled Other Computers below your own. 9. Click Browse and locate where on your computer you want to transfer these files from or click Upload File if you want to move them onto another computer directly from one folder onto another

General Options

There are several features that you can use when you download the program. The first is the ability to drag and drop windows on your screen. This will allow you choose any window and put it in a different place on your screen. You may also move an open window by clicking and holding the title bar of the window and dragging it where you want it.
